Moving to a new area can be so confusing. You don't have the local knowledge to understand why certain neighborhoods are so much more desirable than others, or why some appear so much less expensive. There is usually a good reason.
Even if you are not new to the area, so much has changed in real estate lately, with foreclosures, short sales and changes in lenders requirements, it can be downright confusing for anybody.
Don't make an expensive mistake and end up with a home in the wrong place. And definitely don't overpay for a home, when, if you had been represented by an agent who was a better negotiator, you could have had it for less.
I've lived here in the East Bay for around 18 years and I know this area intimately. Let's meet for coffee and spend 30 minutes to an hour discussing your homebuying strategy and anything else that interests you about today's real estate market.
Fill in the form below or just give me a call on my cell phone at (925) 997-1585 and I'll buy you coffee at a Starbucks, Peets or a coffee house of your choice in the San Ramon Valley or Lamorinda, and discuss real estate with you, including:
- What types of financing you should consider (and what all the jargon means)
- How to list your current home, and what it might be worth
- How to determine how much you should offer when you find a home you like
And any other real estate issues you might want to discuss!
I look forward to meeting you.
