Overview

Canyon Crest is a very desirable neighborhood situated close to the border with Danville. Home styles are typical of the late 1980s and are a mix of one and two story single family detached homes, mostly with 4 bedrooms and all with 3 car garages.

This is a very attractive neighborhood. It has a well-established feel and lot sizes are quite generous compared with more recent developments. Many homes here have been considerably upgraded and remodeled.

One point worth mentioning is the proximity of the excellent Golden View elementary school that is set at the junction of Canyon Crest Drive and Crow Canyon Road, a boon to families living here with younger children.

These homes have consistently appreciated since construction and hold their value well. Based on mid 2006 prices, it would be unusual to see any home here below $900,000 and prices typically range from around $950,000 to $1,200,000. It should be possible to buy a larger 4 bedroom, 3 bath two story home in a good position for around $1,000,000.
